Unless the old boundaries put Hanover in Simcoe County Hanover is in Grey County, a long way from Nottawasaga Twp. I looked up Wannover in my 1872 Gazetteer of British North America but there was no such place. I also searched the 1871 census for an Anna or Annie Graban. The closest I came was an Annie Gribben, aged 25, living with her widowed mother Margaret & her brother Thomas, in Guelph, Wellington Co. Margaret was born in Ireland & the children in Ontario; all were Roman Catholic. Margaret & Annie are listed as tailoresses, & Thomas as a carpenter.
