The details of the sinking on the "Arlington" are covered in my book "Steamboats, Sawlogs & Salvage" - available at the Huronia Museum for a modest price. Sep't 26, 1877 - d. Feb 26, 1924 at Penetang. She was married to Captain Francis Bertram Burke -b. Feb 13 1876 - d. Mar 16, 1943 Midland. Frank's father was son of Francis James Burke (1851 - 1912) and May Stalker (1850 - 1904) Francis J. was a half brother to Captain John Thomas Burke and Captain David Burke.
