Hi Pam: You had said earlier that you are interested in Hugh Marlow's daughter- Mary Ann Marlow. Mary Ann is my gr gr grandmother. She was born in Upper Canada. She married John McAvoy. I reread your post about Mary Ann Marlow and John McAvoy.....my great grandmother was Catherine McAvoy (1852-1890)), she was the daughter of Patrick McAvoy and Ellen Marlow...I wonder if they were related in any way-I have been unable to find any death info on Catherine but she had a baby in 1888 and is no longer listed in the 1891 census. Do you have any leads on this family?
