    1. [CAN-ONT-SIMCOE] 1908 Nurses at R.V.H., Barrie
    2. Marjorie McQuay
    3. This is a long shot, but I wonder if there are any pictures out there of the five nurses who graduated as nurses from Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, in June, 1908. One of them was my great aunt, Rose Cameron. A very descriptive report of the graduation in the Barrie Examiner of June 11, 1908 lists the graduates as Miss Mabel Fisher of Cookstown, Miss Rose Cameron, Shanty Bay, Miss Annie Atkinson, Wiarton, Miss Jennie Thompson, Stayner and Miss Alma McDonald, of Toronto. There was no 1908 class picture available for a book containing pictures and names of the nurses by the Alumni in the 1980's, so I think the only source might be a family collection. 3. Galt, Hespeler and Preston are all now Cambridge Ontario in Waterloo Region - It was amalgamated years ago, but the locals still refer to individual parts. It is an interesting place - each of the above three still have individual downtown business cores and libraries, but the main council is in the "Galt" part I live in Stratford - Perth County anything I might be able to help with? I do have the details of William Cunningham's descendants, suspecting that he is a gr-gr-gr uncle. My gr-gr-gr grandparents were Andrew Cunningham and Elizabeth Clark. I have the complete family history of my line. What I am trying to proof is whether or not William (Sarah Arnold), John (Mary Reid) are brothers of my Andrew Cunningham of Innisfil. If you have any documentation that would support this then I can say indeed we are researching the same family. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
