Sheila Davidson, Orangeville, Ontario After viewing photo of Ellen Heaney's gravestone at ... http://www.waynecook.com/TAP_Heaney.html Can see that there is an error in the Adjala-Tosorontio cemetery book. Ellen's year of death is clearly 1868 in the photo, not 1863 as the book states. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Sheila Davidson Sent: July 15, 2009 10:56 AM To: [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: Re: [CAN-ONT-SIMCOE] John Heaney and Ellen Lowry Hi No info on Ellen's parents, but notice that she is buried in Trinity Anglican Pioneer in North Adjala. Hi Sheryl, Just chimning in here, to save you a bit of trouble. I have the Barrie Union Cemetery transcript and the Mary Moore there does not match yours. The Mary in Barrie Union married a WABB and had a son Harold (strangely indexed as a Moore) who died as an infant but all dates are 'way off. Also checked the Innisfil Cemeteries CD, hoping for a burial in St. Paul's, Painswick, just to the S. of Barrie but no matches. Found a good possibility for Thomas Venner, father of Mary Ellen, in Staffa Cemetery, Perth Co. but likely you have this. Walter died of a fractured skull, result of a 1917 accident, death registered Sault Ste. Marie. Any idea of the location of the family after that, from family lore? Just what did happen to the widowed Mary Ellen and her young family??
