Your Emma Scarrow is the daughter of James Scarrow and Abigail Nelson, My GG Grandfather is Henry Scarrow - brother of James, his wife Ellen Amelia Nelson is sister to Abigail Nelson. Two daughters and two sons of James Scarrow (1806 - 1881) and Susan Radford married two sons and two daughters of William Joseph Nelson and Lydia Enzeley,so it becomes a bit confusing. There is lots of Scarrow information to be had. You can email me at [email protected] Janice Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Author: 417Cindy Surnames: Stewart, Mackewn, Davis, McCleary Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.canada.ontario.simcoe/2692/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Would anyone be willing to do a few look ups for me? Ideally, I would love pictures, but when it comes right down to it, just the information on the stones would be great. I'm not sure how big Barrie Union is, or what you need to do the look up, but I'm trying to find out about the Stewarts buried there and how many of them are connected to each other and to the family I'm researching. I know two of the stones specifically: Thomas Stewart born abt 1871, died abt 1912 Charlotte Mackewn Stewart born abt 1875, died abt 1969 Concession 6, Lot 20 Sections A-F Stones D 376, 377 The next few are ones I found that might be connected, but I don't know anything more than what I found on the OCFA website search. There is another Thomas Stewart birth date should be around 1841, death 1911 Block D Margaret Davis, supposed to be buried beside Thomas, so I'm assuming Block D Annie Stewart, death 1930 Block B James Wesley McCleary, Jennie McCleary, Francis B. McCleary, Block H I've listed the McClearys here because I was told that J.W. McCleary owned the plot where the first Thomas and Margaret Davis are buried, but I don't know for certain. I'm sure simply listing the Blocks they are in is probably not enough information, but it's all I have. And if there's any way you could tell me if there are any more Stewarts or whoever else might be next to these graves, I would really appreciate it. Can anyone help? Thanks. 3. Sorry - I should have added that this is not/not the well-known Watson family of Oro Twp. They were Scottish, while the family I'm looking for are of Irish origin (and are clearly in South Simcoe). Is anyone working on a Watson family in Simcoe South - mainly Tecumseth, but possibly also W. Gwill, Innisfil or Essa?   I am trying to find more about a John Watson who occupied Tec Con6 Lot18 in 1837, and a James Watson who purchased Tec Con5 Lot 18 in 1842 (and who had a son James in 1841 who later became an M.D. in Beeton).   James Watson Senior purchased his land (right next door to the John Watson mentioned above) in 1842 from an Ausman, and James Watson Junior married an Ausman in 1863, thus my keen interest - and great puzzlement at finding so little on them. 3. Hi Heather: You're right--I should have elaborated more fully. I actually meant, since Robert was a boarder, that possibly he was working for extended periods of time in Orillia while the family was working the farm. In 1909, he was in Peterborough (according to a signature on a death registration for a family member), so possibly his type of work took him to various locations. 3. Thanks again - you gave me a clue and now I have him. Edouard JANVENNE (s/o Cyrille and Emilia Lambert) m. 1885 Byng Inlet, Mary Jane GIROUX (d/o Pierre Giroux & Marie St-Onge) George, age 5, is living with Edouard and Mary Jane in Tiny Township in 1891.
