The indexes to Ontario vital records as provided by Ancestry.ca have errors and omissions, as do the indexes on microfilm. If you are unable to find a birth marriage or death in the Ancestry.ca electronic indexes, scroll down the Ancestry.ca "search" page". You will find all of the Ontario counties listed as hot links. Click on the county that you are interested in. A list of years will appear on your screen. Choose the year/s of interest and then browse through all of the registrations for that year.
