One private reply to my original post. Some of the RootsWeb lists nearly stopped discussions when they were changed to "reply to sender." Has anyone come across a story of a resident of Ontario leaving six children age 3-14 to go back to Ireland in the 1850's and start another family? I think the online file may have locations mixed up or perhaps merged same-name individuals from different generations. Working on the Johnson/Johnston family today.
