    3. Hi, I am trying to find what Catholic Church records I should seek out for marriages and baptisms in the general Caledon area, including Orangeville, for the period 1845 to 1865. Is it true that these records are still kept in the parishes and I will have to go to the church? What Catholic churches existed in the period 1845 to 1865 in this area? Are they still in existence and if not, where might the registers be kept? I would appreciate receiving any information to find these records. Thanks for your assistance. Gay
