    3. To all:- The following is a message and request from Senator Lorna Milne, the one who worked so hard to obtain release of the 1911 census -- from March 1999 to June 28, 2005. I KNOW all have filled in his or her census forms by now and hope the last question was answered with YES. Muriel M. For the first time Canadians will be asked if they want their own information preserved for posterity, and only released after 92 years for historians to study. The census is the ONLY record of all Canadians in their family groups. If you want to be on the historical record of our country; if you want your great-great-grandchildren to be able to find out who you were and how you lived CHECK THAT YES BOX! Do YOU know who all your great-great-grandparents were? You can find out using census records. It is essential for the integrity of the historical rcord in the future that we CHECK THAT YES BOX! If we leave it blank, Statistics Canada will make the decision for us, and will refuse to allow future generations to find out who we were -- forever! We will disappear from history! It may be literally a matter of life and death for your descendants, so CHECK THAT YES BOX! ===============================================
