    3. There have been many changes in newspapers during the past years -- it could have been The Conservator, which became The Daily Times, then closed down after being bought by the Thomson chain. The Peel Gazette was also operational then. My suggestion is to go to Peel County Archives or the Chinguacousy Library -- records and possibly even microfilm would be available. Present newspaper is the Brampton Guardian, thrice weekly.
