    3. To all who know the history of Brampton:- http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/Test2.jsp?sdid=8693 The above includes several lines of the Brampton Automated Genealogy census listing -- reading the names, after reading the history books, makes Main Street come alive!! I know the enumerator spelled Bettridge with only one "t", but that is how we must type it. Beatty, Thompson, Fenton, Pringle and many others are all old names and have been incorporated into today's Brampton. I am requesting anyone who has a better knowledge of Brampton than I do to use Split-View and check my work -- we might be able to get rid of several "????".[ I use these to make proofreaders take note than I was unsure]. Believe me -- one of the best bits of equipment to transcribe this old form of writing is a hand-held magnifying glass. At the same time, post to the list the names of the places, page number, plus line and family numbers for any area of Peel County. Let's work on this together, please. Muriel M.
