A special welcome to all newcomers -- I just finished checking to see all were subscribed - also released mail. While at Brampton Cemetery yesterday to see about a tombstone and what one can do re a cemetery plot, I was given a copy of the Brampton By-Laws - Interesting. The residents of Brampton know the location of the Brampton Cemetery and the Main Street North Cemetery -- how about these: Old Zion (Bertrams); Fourth Line (Huttonville Cemetery); Old Methodist (Old Grahamsville); Mount Zion Cemetery; Alloa Cemetery; Snell Cemetery; Hilltop-Gore Cemetery; Shiloh Cemetery; Woodhill Cemetery; Cheyne Cemetery; Lundys Cemetery; Mount Olivet Cemetery; Harrison United Church Cemetery; Page Cemetery; Rice Estate; Zion Cemetery; Grahamsville Cemetery; St. Mary's Tullamore Cemetery; St. John's Castlemore Cemetery; St. John's Snelgrove Cemetery. If anyone does not know the location of cemeteries, the addresses are with the City of Brampton Bylaws. At present I have been working with a group to index the closed cemeteries, ones being used plus private burial sites in my native Queens County, Nova Scotia. [I well remember the mosquito bites]. At present we are still waiting for names of those buried on Port Mouton Island. Muriel M. Davidson muriel_davidson@sympatico.ca List Admin of above lists.
