Has anyone come across the Cheavins/Chevins name? I have John Smith married to Marry Ann Cheavins in 1823. No parents listed of course but I did finally find a record which placed her from Albion Twp where they raised their family. The 1851 Albion census has a Chevins family, which may be her brother as head of household and a William and Mary Chevins both age 73 living with him. It would be nice if these are her parents and even nicer if I can prove it. So far I have had no luck finding the Cheavins/Chevins name ant where. Jim
