The Mississauga Heritage Foundation presents its annual Heritage Showcase this weekend at the Square One Mall. Groups included are Halton Peel Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society, Mississauga South Historical Society, Streetsville Historical Society, Friends of the Old Britannia Schoolhouse, Region of Peel Archives etc. The hours are Friday 10-9, Saturday 9:30-6 and Sunday noon-5. The Oakville Library will hold another scanning day to scan historic photos from Oakville/Trafalgar tomorrow, Friday, February 16 at the central Library (in the Audtorium) 120 Navy Street. The scanning will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You photos will be scanned while you wait and added to an online archive of historic photos.
