I have some pieces of a quilt that I found among my mother's things after her death. It has the date June 6, 1825 stitched on it. These pieces have names stitched as well and they are not names from our family. I would really like to find the family these names are from so I could give it to someone. I can only assume it is from Peel because my mother lived in the Clarkson area her whole life. The names are Mary, May, Jack, Villock, Harry Joselin, Reta, Andy, Minnie.
