I am researching the following families, and hopeful of tracing their descendants to the present day. If anyone has any information or conenction to these families, please contact me. Sue Visser has already been extremely helpful! 1.) Christina McLELLAN (b. ca. 1821-1824) and her husband, Duncan McINTYRE (b. ca. 1815-1821), Lot 28, Con. 2 N.D.R., Glenelg Twp. They had: Norman; Isabella; John; Angus; Archibald; Catherine [Katie]; Donald; and Mary Ann. They also brought up an illegitimate grandson, William McIntyre. 2.) Hugh McLELLAN (b. ca. 1824-1829) and his wife, Margaret BUTTER (b. ca. 1832), Lot 27, Con. 2 N.D.R., Glenelg Twp. They had: Archibald; Catherine; Sarah Ann; Norman; Archibald [again]; and Mary Flora; and John Angus. 3.) Euphemia McLELLAN (b. ca. 1831) and her husband, John McLELLAN (b. ca. 1825), Glenelg Twp. They seem to have left the area after the 1861 census. At that time they had the following children: John; James; Janet; and Norman. 4.) Mary McLELLAN (b. ca. 1831-1833) and her husband, Henry COLE (b. ca. 1821), tavern-keeper, Glenelg Twp. They had: Peter; John; Norman; Sarah; William Henry; Hugh; Angus; Archibald; Charles; and Mary Ann. 5.) Janet [Jessie] McLELLAN (b. ca. 1837) and her husband, Alexander MARTIN (b. ca. 1837), Lot 16, Con. 6 N.D.R., Glenelg Twp. They had: Sarah; Ronald; Isabella; Norman; and Mary. 6.) Archibald McLELLAN (b. ca. 1840) and his wife, Janet _____ (b. ca. 1849), Glenelg Twp. They had: Norman. The above listed McLellan children were sons and daughters of Norman McLellan, who died in Scotland, and his wife, Catherine MacVICAR, who also came to Glenelg and was still living there in 1871, but not found after that. There may have been more children in each of the families named. I am also interested in tracing the descendants of Rev. Donald McLEOD and his wife, Lucy Isabella Raye COWAN, of Priceville, formerly of Prince Edward Island. He was born in P.E.I. about 1843, and died at Priceville in 1897. They had Mary Gertrude; John Alexander; Donald B.; Roderick James; Norman Alfred; and Margaret Christabel. Before he came to Priceville, Rev. McLeod had been at Murray Harbour South, P.E.I.; Halifax, N.S.; and Galt, Ont. Many thanks for any information or contacts. George F.
