Dave Wiley: Dave, I was so interested in your correction of names, I was specifically interested in Wm. Lucas, Markdale. My ggggrandfather was William Lucas from Varney (Egremont), originally Ireland. I have been searching for any information on him. In a writeup I was given (courtesy Wellington County archives), it states that the Lucas families at Markdale are descendants. I believe this Wm. Lucas could be his son. Could you please share with my anything you might know about him?
