Hi All While reading articles from Hurry to Bruce Alberta. I noticed an item regarding John McIntyre who was the second son of Alex and Flora (McEachern) McIntyre they had nine children. It states that he was born in Sct 1848 and later emigrated to Egremont twp. near Mt. Forest Ont. Presbyterian In the article it mentions that John named his home Kilchoman Lodge at Bruce Alta. In the 1992 version of the IGI on fische I found a marriage of Alexander McIntyre and Flora McEachern December 7, 1848 in Kilchoman, Argyll 7435236, 41 Also I located John McIntyre chrst: November 5, 1850 in Kilchoman, Argyll 7435235, 97 Gilbert McIntyre chrst: March 4, 1851 in Kilchoman, Argyll 7435235, 94 So this John appears to be good fit to the family in 1881. If anyone has an Egremont history book or the 1871 census could you please lookup Alex and family for me.. thanks Ida
