Hello I am searching for info on John Thomson B/D? from area of Sydenham Ontario (approx 1837)originally born in Dunbarton Scotland) His parents John & Agnes (Stark) also living in Ontario. John(age 25) married Agnes Mathilda (age 26)(Milroy) Jan 28, 1862 Agnes is listed as being from Galt, Dumfries(originally from Kentucky USA) (she worked as a seamstress) her parents were James & Margaret (Kechis) Milroy I found this little bit of info in a book called county marriage registers of Ontario Waterloo county volumn 32. Where do you think they might be buried As I live in BC I have no idea what is in that area. John and Mathilda had several children, they were Maggie, Jack, Jim, William A, Robert George (Born 1973)my grandfather, David & Charles / Thomson. The family had a sort of general store and the boys lived about it and I believe that John, Mathilda, and daughter Maggie lived else where, possible a farm house? Maggie married (Duncan) had 1 child Maggied dies of cancer while in her 30's)? Robert George, Charles, William A, all moved and settled in Oak River Manitoba, my mother was told that the lumber for their home in Oak River was cut in the family mill in Ontario and shipped via train to Oak River.
