Hello the list. As a former Owen Sounder I look forward to this list. May run in to old friends, never know. Looking for help with information on my Grandparents. William John Smith b 26 July 1894 according to mother b 27 July 1896 according to army records (if they are the right ones) Born Greersville Ontario I have no idea where that is( Artemesia ?) Buried in Tara. Last Cemetery on left going towards Southampton, Owen Sound highway Do not know name of cemetery (died in the last 20-30 years I think Lists his mother as Mrs. Elizabeth Smith 969-6th Ave West Margaret Robertson Harris Smith b 12 July 1898, Scotland. Buried at same cemetery as Grandfather in Tara. They had two Children. Doris Margaret Smith ( my Mother)Who Married Lew Edwards (Carpenter in Owen Sound) Laura Smith who Married Cliff McLeod ( they lived in Collingwood) When he retired he was caretaker and Icemaker at the Grey granite Curling club on 2nd Ave East. I am new to this and do not know what I need to apply for documentation or what type of documentation I need. Any help would be greatly appreciate it.
