Hello Everyone: I am not sure if everyone on this list know about the Ontario Vital Statistics Project so I thought I would post a note about it. The project has been on-line for 3 years and consists of thousands of registrations. We are far from complete but with the help of researcher and volunteers we are making headway. I am hoping that you will take some time to check out the site and hopefully you will find someone you are looking for. The site consists of Marriages headed up by Mary Crandall, Births headed up by Steve Marshall and Deaths headed up by me Paula Easton. We are always looking for volunteers to help transcribe data, input data and error check. Just so there is no confusion as I am sure many of you may know about the OntarioGenWeb project that is currently trying to get permission from Archives to transcribe the indexes, we are not part of that project. We are a separate project with separate goals. We are bringing you the registrations!
