Hello, My Dad has a set of 7 photos that he inherited from his grandfather. He remembers them hanging on the wall in his grandparents home, but he does not know who the people in the photos are. His grandfather had pasted them to a wooden board and the numbers 1913 (It could be the year by the look of the clothing, etc.) were written in pencil on the back of the wooden board. When we opened the frame, one of the pictures came loose and we could read the following on the back of the photo "J. James, Novelty Studio, ? St., Owen Sound". My Dad's grandfather and his wife were from Owen Sound. Will locating the records for this company help us to find out who the people are in the photo? The photos were taken in a studio and are of different poses of a group of young men. If anyone has any ideas on identifying these photos and me, please let me know. I would really appreciate it.
