Hi Eileen ----------------------------------------- I will be happy to do lookups in the book if everyone would first have a look at the on-line index, and give me the page references, so it will make my life a little easier. It may take a couple of days, but I will get to them. Eileen --------------------------------------- In Farm Lanes of Bentinck <http://www.bmts.com/~rdc/>, there are several references to the Legate and Legette s. My point of focus is Robert Legate of Greenside and his siblings that arrived in the 1840s. His children (for sure) moved all over the place - even a trip to Chile in the pre-Panama canal 1890s - including Bentinck. Would you be so kind as to do a lookup for this family?
