Just noticed a inquiry regarding a Richardson. I too, am looking for A Douglas Clinton Richardson. He was born in Tilbury Village, Kent County, ONT. on October 17, 1891. He passed away in December, 1969 in Detroit, Michigan. I recently visited Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak, Michigan where many of my Hallock ancestors are buried. Douglas is interred there along with his wife, Claire. Also her sister Alma (Graves) Hallock. Was surprised to see the Hallock attached to Alma's name. Apparently she was the third wife of my grandfather, Alfred D. Hallock. Alma died in July, 1954. Alfred in 1950. They are all buried in the Hammond Plot along with Douglas and Claire and many other member of this family. Douglas' parents were Henry, 1863 and Sarah J. Taylor, 1859. All were born in the Tilbury Area. They had 7 children all born between 1891 - 1898. Four sons: Douglas, Harry, Charles and John. Daughters: Gladys, Margaret and Elizabeth. What I am inquiring about is the surname of Claire and Alma. Do not have a clue other than the name Graves on Alma's headstone which I believe is probably her first husband's name. Would appreciate any information on Claire and Alma's parents, etc. Thank you very much. Bev - MI
