Charles Kenny (1783 or 1794 - 1864) and his wife Ann (abt 1801-1869) emigrated from Ireland to Canada in 1835. Ann was born in Co. Cavan. They were married in 1824 in Ireland. They were Wesleyan Methodists. Their children born in Ireland were: Isabella, Matilda, George (1824-1902), Margaret (1831-1914) and Anne (b. 1833). Their children born in Canada were: Samuel (1837-1904), Sarah and Charles. They settled first in Clarke Twp., Durham Co., Ontario and moved about 1848 to Collingwood Twp., Grey Co., Ontario. I have a very tenuous lead suggesting that they were living in the Townland of Teurerehan, Annageliff Parish, Upper Loughtee Barony, Co. Cavan close to the border with Co. Longford in 1821.
