Hello - I am looking for information with respect to my GGrandfather David Brown. He was a weaver in Meaford for many years (approx 1850-1888). He died at Walter's Falls in 1896 living with his son there. I have the following conflicting information: The Meaford Monitor, Oct. 2, 1896 Died: David Brown of Walters Falls, aged 75 years. Buried Meaford. Lakeview Cemetery, Meaford Row B9 Plot 10 Brown David, died November 26, 1896, aged 76 years. His wife, Elizabeth, died August 6, 1886, aged 61 years. This is obviously not correct since it says the obit was Oct 2 and the death was Nov 26. He was buried in Lakeview Cemetery in Meaford. I would like to find someone who could look in the Meaford paper of the time to find the correct dates, and if there was a more extensive obituary published.
