Hi Kim The land that Zion Cemetary is on is Lot 6 on Concession 7 in Glenelg. NDR. The land was donated by the owner who was Thomas Blair and his wife Ann Hendrick. Their son Thomas Blair who while working at the Traverston Mill fell into the river, became sick with pneumonia and passed away on January 1, 1857. There was not a graveyard nearby so the Blairs buried their son on the corner of their land. Later on they gave that acre of land to be used by Zion Church as the Zion Cemetary.
