Hello All, First a big thank you for those that answered my last query about Annie McLean and John McLauchlin ! Now I seem to have another problem. This time with Annie's sister Catherine McLean Catherine was born Aug. 18, 1867. She married Hector M(a)cDonald b. Sept 14, 1861. They had children Alec, Jessie and Ann according to the 1901 Census for Artemesia, Grey Co., Ontario. Were Hector's parents Malcolm and Jessie McDonald who appear on the 1881 Census for Artemesia, Grey Co. ? Next problem; I have Hector McDonald, b. abt 1861/2 listed on the 1881 Census with parents Alex and Catherine McDonald. He married Catherine McLean, thought to be born around 1867. Hector is reported to have moved to Wyoming, USA later in the 1880's where he had a ranch. His cousins Colin, Donald aka Dan and Neil Beaton are supposed to have worked on this ranch. I cannot find Hector and Catherine McDonald on the 1900 or later US census but have found Colin and Neil in Laramie Co., Wyoming where they each had cattle ranches. Who were Catherine's parents ?
