Is anyone on the list researching these families? David Brown, a weaver, (b. Scotland abt. 1820) lived in Meaford approx 1859 to 1877. He and his wife Elizabeth (perhaps nee MacCormick?) had (at least) three children: David b 1855 Angeline b 1860 Amelia b 1862 Son David moved to Walter's Falls and operated the woollen mill there. He and his wife Christine (nee Ellen Jones) had the following chldren: Lotta b 1875 Olive b. 1886 Jersey b. 1887 Edward b. 1880 Christina (Chrissy) b. 1884 (My Grandmother - d. 1816) David Brown Sr. moved to Walter's Falls after his wife died in 1886. He died there in 1896, but I believe he is buried in Meaford/Lakeview. David Brown Jr and his wife are buried in Walter's Falls United Church cemetery.
