    3. Hi List, I have people interested in tracing the family of John PROCTOR b. c. 1832 in Scotland. his wife Margaret, born in Ontario c. 1843 and died June 1, 1888. In 1881 they and their children, Victoria A. born c. 1863, Alexander D., b. c. 1864, George F., b. c. 1869, Margaret T. b. c. 1876. In 1880 they lost twins, Elizabeth and Catherine Olive on the 17th and 20 th of August. They had also lost daughters in 1871 aged 1 year. We have found them in Bentinck Township in 1881 only. John is listed as a Music Master. No Proctors listed in Bentinck in 1901. - when and where he died - where he is buried - where in Scotland he came from - was he a music teacher at a school? What does Music Master mean? - any information regarding the children - George Francis is my husband's grandfather and the father of John Francis, my husband's father but we know nothing of the others, Victoria, Alexander and Margaret. My husband, Larry, never knew his father as his parents seperated or divorced soon after his birth and his mother would never tell him about his father. We have only recently found information about him. First we found military records from WWI from the Archives in Ottawa and from there traced back to find his parents and grandparents. Larry is an only child and we know of no Proctor relatives but wonder if there are descendants from Geroge's brothers and sisters. Thank you for any help you can provide. Jackie Proctor They come through George F. who had a son John Francis. Can anyone help? Jopie -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
