To all transcribers of the 1911 census records:- The standing for Prince Edward Island is presently 98.89% with 12 pages to transcribe. The counties are: Kings - 97.53%; Prince - 98.54; Queens - 100% Standing for New Brunswick is 81.62 % and the following counties have 100% -- Carleton; Gloucester; Kings and Albert; Northumberland Just a few words of caution:- Do NOT leave finished pages of 50 lines UNCLAIMED -- you will find someone else has claimed them -- as in other provinces of Canada. Please do NOT Claim Pages when you only have 3, 6 or 8 lines transcribed -- do not worry - these will not be claimed unless left too long -- I might be the one to finish the page and claim it. There is a notice that pages on several district were reserved in August 2005 for one person to transcribe -- IGNORE -- there was no transcribing done until a month ago. Should you wish to transcribe -- please do so. I am copying in one trancriber who might know the email addresses of many who need help with pages -- some look as if the dogs chewed the lines as bones -- left out lines, but because the last line was 50, it is recorded as 50 lines. [Sometimes the enumerator liked writing, and we find 51 lines -- I have checked all of these and reported ones which need fixing].
