Hi Sandy, Not sure if I answered before but I think I did. Did you find William and Jane? This registration up to 1873 may be too early for them, and too late for William's first marriage. I did find both their deaths in Manitoba and have sent for those certificates hoping that they will give me some information. Also sent for Jane's obit in 1921 in the Morden Times. I had originally asked for William's obit in 1915 but those archives are missing. I did find some other records in Manitoba Vital Statistics and have sent for those but still don't have either William's or Jane's birth certificates. I am hoping that Horace Grove's marriage certificate will reveal if Jane is his mother or not, and I think not so may find out William's first wife's name. Actually, Jane was 20 when he was born so she may be his mother. Too bad I haven't been able to find out more about Belinda, William and Walter as they are not likely Jane's children, especially Belinda who is only 9 years younger than Jane. If I do find William's birth for sure in 1831, it may lead to other things. His first marriage is likely about 1851. Thanks for your help.
