Hello Alex It's a small world indeed - I told my wife about your e-mail message and it certainly seems that this Viola Galvin may have been her 1C2R. Your description does appear to point to a Mary Viola Galvin, born 1885 in Carleton Place and who remained unmarried. She was the daughter of James Galvin & Margaret McGuire. Your recollection will at least direct us to look into Ottawa for some work history. Again, many thanks for the response and for the recollection.
