This Moore family seems to begin in the Manotick Station area with Samuel Moore (1806-1888) and his wife Ann Gamble (1806-1896). Their children were (as far as I can figure out): Eliza Moore (1827-1853), John Moore (1828 died in infancy at sea), Thomas Moore (1834-1910), Andrew Moore (1839-????), Mary Moore (1840-1908), Sarah Moore (1842-1917), Nathaniel Moore (1844-1922), Annie Moore, (1847-1939).
