    1. Transcribing Our Long Awaited 1911 Census Records

    3. To all:- Many seem to be transcribing the 1911 census records with Automated Genealogy, which is Canada-wide and is linked to Library and Archives Canada. I have been transcribing various pages in Shelburne County, plus other places and have one special request:- If YOU are searching for a certain family, write your findings down on a piece of paper -- please do not start the 50 lines per page with Line 8 and end it with Line 14 -- let's finish the complete page -- only 50 line. Others are not claiming the page -- which I found great today!! There were many errors, which I corrected, then claimed the page. Once a page has been claimed, it can only be opened by the one whose name is beside it. Yukon, with a small population, is 100.00% finished. Nova Scotia is next with 71.73%; NorthWest Territories 64.93%; Prince Edward Island 64.01% and New Brunswick 54.28%. All others are below 50%. Muriel M.
