    3. To all:- NOVA SCOTIA is now officially the first province to have 100% of the 1911 census records transcribed -- HOORAY! It has been a great deal of hard work, especially with the City of Halifax transcriptions -- I am certain the enumerator zig-zagged along one street and so did the numbers he assigned to the homes. For many transcribers, there are black marks beside some districts, generally for pages with more than 50 lines -- as I do not have all email addresses, it would be nice to take an extra look. Many thanks to all enumerators, whether in my group, or others. Also thanks for corrections now being sent to me -- I appreciate this very much as the handwriting was very difficult to read. As for Dave Tanner -- when we had questions -- he answered -- many thanks --- and remember, Lunenburg County was the first to have 100% in Nova Scotia. Which province will be next? Nova Scotia's flag is already proudly waving at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~downhome/ Muriel M. 3. Many thanks Denise on behalf of all who helped in Nova Scotia and this also goes for transcribers who are working on the Carleton area records -- I happen to be formerly from Nova Scotia -- do not know whether it was some of Don Messer music or some of my brother's music -- but we struggled on. I have checked other areas of Canada and I believe the City of Halifax records were printed last -- many are sending corrections to me so descendants may be able to search. The proofreaders still have to view our work. Denise -- it sounds like you are from Nova Scotia -- or am I reading something into your message. For many others who might like Nova Scotian census records , these are posted on the URL I gave -- my personal homepage -- records go back as far as about 1650.
