    3. A few years ago 'someone' suggested the book Carleton Saga to help me in my research...... I was able to find a copy............at http://www.abebooks.com/ ..........from this book I learned a great deal about Carleton County and my interests...... To help others...I am willing to look in the index to see if your family names are mentioned........so you too can see if the book will help you......... I will provide page numbers if appropriate.......and then you can find the book.........and search further.... Happy searching...... 3. Judy and others:- Did you notice the tag-line -- by now you must know your list administrator is a history lover -- when putting my family history books together (on good old 8 1/2 x 11) I include history bits and pieces -- it is nice to know how our people lived. Example:- My paternal grandfather sailed out of Gloucester, MA and also the Grand Banks. One of my prized pieces of furniture, already willed to my youngest granddaughter, is a Berlin pump organ (now Kitchener, ON) brought from Gloucester to the harbour west of Liverpool, NS. It was given to my grandmother in July 1894 according to the newspaper clipping -- one way our people marked items. Enjoy!!!
