To all:- Newspapers across Canada will accept well-written, not over 200 words in length, articles of a timely subject like the release of Post-1901 Census Records. Here is one great site -- http://www.onlinenewspapers.com/canada.htm Click on the name of the newspaper, and somewhere you will find either a place to contact the paper or name of editor. The e-mail address of the paper will be available. We all have newspapers -- use them!!! Many papers prefer personal delivery of letters, others e-mail. All require complete name and address, plus telephone number so the editor may check to see if the letter is a hoax. Basically, one short three or four paragraph letter will do for every newspaper in Canada -- send each one individually, and only the name of the paper and editor has to be changed. I will assist anyone PRIVATELY -- proofreading!!!!! Your letter will be returned privately -- that is a promise! One paper to concentrate on is the Ottawa Hill Times, often referred to as the Bible of Parliament Hill! Please, let us see some ACTION -- if a Canada Census Committee member, sign your name as such. If a member of a genealogical society, be proud of your affiliation -- a letter may be signed by more than one person. Muriel M.
