    3. Hi, I am new to the Carleton website. I am looking for information on the burial of Elizabeth McMillan. This may be the transcription I am looking for. McMILLAN Elizabeth Merivale United & St John Anglican Carleton Nepean OT-81-07 John McMillan, born on the voyage to Canada, married Elizabeth in 1820 and the young couple moved to Merrivale in Carleton County (outside of Ottawa, Ontario.) where John squared timber to support his new wife and a family soon to consist of seven children, four daughters and three sons. Two daughters died as infants and with their Mother, Elizabeth were buried in the United Church cemetery in Merrivale. John, a member of the Managing Board of the Presbyterian Church, gave his house to the church to be used as a manse. Later the house burned and for a time Border's Dairy owned the land. With his family of three sons and two daughters, John came to Grey County. Could some one please lookup the above to verify? Thanks T Smith
