Hello, Would anyone be familiar with an early Ottawa photographer by the name of J G Topley? I am trying to date a photograph of my GORMAN ancestors (Bernard Gorman & Margaret Redmond and their 11 children) that seems to have been taken in the early 1900s. Printed on the pressed paper frame is J G Topley 164 Rideau St, Ottawa. I would also be interested in any Gorman information that is available. Bernard b1863 was a son of Richard Gorman who came to Ottawa from Quebec about 1865 with his wife Mary Anne Sherwood and 5 children. Thanks Brian [email protected]
