PURDYS of Carleton/Lanark County Reunion A family reunion will be held Saturday, 3 August 2002 for the descendants of Henry and Charlotte Purdy who settled on Purdy Rd., Goulbourn Twp., Carleton County in 1824. Their descendants also settled in Blackburn, Carleton County as well as Beckwith Twp. in Lanark County. Related surnames include: Gorman, Lang, Sparks, Langley, Beach, Ogilvie, Anderson, O'Connor, Cosgrove, O'Neil, McEuwen, Ryan, Barry, Walsh, Mills, Taman, and Virgin.
