    3. Apologies for combining the messages! Please listen to CPAC! To our Political Leaders:- WILL anyone be brave enough to stand up and move, in the Year of the Veteran, that Bill S-18 have Second and Third Reading bypassed, plus Committee and Report and be considered PASSED. [Many WILL be changing his/her way of voting!!] Muriel M. Davidson muriel_davidson@sympatico.ca ----- Original Message ----- From: Gordon A. Watts To: Canada Census Campaign Sent: Wednesday, May 11, 2005 11:09 AM Subject: Post 1901 Census - Projected Order of Business Greetings All On the government website the Projected Order of Business for the House of Commons normally shows at least part of the business expected to be dealt with for the remainder of the week. This week however it seems that they are placing information on the website for only one day at a time. The schedule for today (Wednesday) shows several items of Government Business, but makes no mention of Bill S-18. It is beginning to look less and less that Bill S-18 will be passed before the government is forced to call an election. To say that I am NOT a 'happy camper' would be understating the situation. I will be writing my MP today to advise that if an election is forced before Bill S-18 is passed I will be forced to give very serious consideration regarding who will receive my vote in a future election. I encourage everyone to continue contacting their Member of Parliament to seek their support to 'fast-track' Bill S-18 by foregoing the Committee and Report stages, and to pass Second and Third readings in a single day. Happy Hunting. Gordon A.
