I am researching the MacMillan/McMillan Clan in Bruce & Grey Counties. I have the family of John Ewan McMillan 1819 - 1884 who settled in St Vincent Township near Mountain Lake at the Hog's Back. Several of his siblings also settled in Grey County in Sydenham, Sarawak, Keppel and Derby Townships; also in Owen Sound and Bruce Counties near Port Elgin. A family emergency had me in Ottawa, but I was only able to get to the Nepean Library for 10 minutes when I discovered the typed copy of J.L Gourlay's "History of the Ottawa Valley" 1896. Page 23, that had the details I was searching was NOT photocopied clearly. If there is anyone on list that has a copy of this book and would help me fill in the missing parts, I would like to hear from you off list. Thanks. Hi All, I'm a new subscriber to this mail list. I am searching for the ancestry of John BOYD, b ~1814 Ireland and Elizabeth "Betsy" COWARD, b ~1827 England. They married on Sept. 20, 1843. In the marriage record they are listed as residents of North Gower. The marriage was performed by John Hood (possibly Flood) and recorded in the register of St. John's Church in Richmond. Their first 4 or 5 children were born in Canada, but by 1860 they were living in St. Lawrence Co, NY. Would love to hear from anyone who might have a connection to these people. Terry Boyd Sawzak
