To: Roy Cullen, MP; Paul DeVillers, MP: Carolyn Parrish, MP: David Pratt, MP; Scott Reid, MP ONTARIO has 103 Members of Parliament, as follows:- 38 SUPPORTIVE of census release; 21 -- NO ANSWER; 39 have YES/NO Undecided symbol, but we have FIVE RED Xs. The FIVE Red Xs belong to those named above and as Co-Chair of the Canada Census Committee, could we know YOUR individual reasons for this designation? Many have been mentioning various doctrines as told to them, but IF you are using one of these as an excuse for saying NO, please tell us where you learned or read the document - we wish to know. Family history is not only being researched by genealogists, but by many seeking a missing family member (as I am), hereditary genetic diseases, ancestors known as Home Children. People from all over the world have roots in Canada -- are proud of this. We are looking forward to learning your reasons why you chose to add the RED to your province's scoreboard. 3. I am researching the MacMillan/McMillan Clan in Bruce & Grey Counties. I have the family of John Ewan McMillan 1819 - 1884 who settled in St Vincent Township near Mountain Lake at the Hog's Back. Several of his siblings also settled in Grey County in Sydenham, Sarawak, Keppel and Derby Townships; also in Owen Sound and Bruce Counties near Port Elgin. I would like to connect with all Macmillan's in Grey County to update the Family tree including his siblings. The McMillan Clan of Grey-Bruce Counties first settled in Finch Township, Stormont County in 1802. T Smith

    2. Terry
    3. Hi All, I'm a new subscriber to this mail list. I am searching for the ancestry of John BOYD, b ~1814 Ireland and Elizabeth "Betsy" COWARD, b ~1827 England. They married on Sept. 20, 1843. In the marriage record they are listed as residents of North Gower. The marriage was performed by John Hood (possibly Flood) and recorded in the register of St. John's Church in Richmond. Their first 4 or 5 children were born in Canada, but by 1860 they were living in St. Lawrence Co, NY. Would love to hear from anyone who might have a connection to these people. Terry Boyd Sawzak
