Born March 13, 1923, in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Mary Elizabeth (Muise) Swaine. She worked as a homemaker. Surviving are her children, Patricia (William) Crouse, Beaver River; William (Donna) Brannen, Toronto, Ont.; Lawrence J. (Helen), Bain Road, Yarmouth Co.; grandchildren, Holly, Cathy, Cindy, Shelley, Matthew; great-grandson, Lucas; brothers, Carl Swaine, Yarmouth; Ronald (Enid) Swaine, Piney, Man.; sisters, Beatrice Dugas, Yarmouth; Shirley (Richard) Duncan, Wainwright, Alta. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd George Brannen; son, Walter; brothers, John Frederick Swaine, Bernard Swaine, Paul Swaine, John Sherman "Sonny" Swaine; sisters, Barbara Swaine, Lennie Killam, Pauline Murphy. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. today with prayers at 8 p.m., followed by the funeral at 10 a.m. Saturd! ay, November 12, both in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth, Father John MacPherson officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. It has been requested that there be family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Yarmouth Regional Hospital MRI Fund or a charity of choice.
