But moving to Reading would not be surprising. A great many Acadians moved to Reading, Wakefield, Stoneham, Melrose Massachusetts including my parents. Those towns are all next to each other. I was born in Melrose and lived there for many years. If my mother was still of sound mind, she might know but she is now 96 and her memory is gone. Funny, most of the Acadians in those towns knew each other or knew of the family - I guess they kind of stuck together. Have you tried researching records in Reading? Sandy
