Bro. Corning professed faith in Christ when a young man and united with the Beaver River Church. He was highly esteemed and loved by all who knew him. The news of his death came as a thunderbolt from a clear sky, and brought deep sorrow, not only to the family, but to many a home in Maitland. We could only say, "Be still and know that I am God." The deceased was a most kind and affectionate husband and father. The young wife and family have the sincere sympathy and prayers of many in this trying hour. We know that this is one of the "all things that work together for good to them that love God. " Jesus says, " What I do thou knowest not now, but thou shalt know hereafter."
