They had two sons, William and Edmund, born in Yarmouth around 1840. As a teenager, Edmund worked on his father's ship, but then jumped ship in Boston and lived there until he died c1915. Willam joined him in Boston around 1890. John Brown's family were Loyalists, but I havent been able to find anything more about them. If anyone has information on this family, please let me know.
