She was living in belleville, NS. where her family was from. My grandfather Alexis, his wife, and youngest daugheter visited her in 1940. My aunt remembers two children Theodore about 10 and emil about 4. She was married to Maurice LeFevre,i believe. My aunt thinks they moved west for work. There are still families with that last name in the Belleville area. I am new at ancestry, just playing with it, so I have nothing formal. JUst info from the internet and argyle courthouse and MA archives. Hope this helps. beverly MUSE mACdONALD

Sluice Point, Eelbrook, Yarmouth area and Ste. Anne du Ruisseau, Nova Scotia is the information that I have. My e-mail is spaniels@klondiker.com in case you felt like corresponding. I live in the Yukon (north of 60th paralell). I notice that there seems to be a lot of "blanks" as far as the Mic Mac history goes. My cousin Richard Melanson in Halifax tells me that my grandparents were raised in a "post-expulsion" era. They felt bad enough that they were from one minority (French) and they did not want to advertize that they were also from a second (Mic Mac), thus all their children were given English names. Thank goodness we have gotten past that kind of stuff in today's world! Thank you so much for your reply. Sincerely, Marie Denise Leschart
