Hi to all on the CAN-NS-SHELBURNE list. I'm new here and wonder if anyone can help me. My mother (now nearly 80) used to have a pen-pal called Shirley PENTZ who lived at the School-house in Shelburne. They wrote to each other up to early in WW2 then lost touch. Last my mum heard, Shirley was engaged to a sailor - mum thinks he may have been Swedish, so possibly Shirley headed off abroad. Mum would love to know what happened for Shirley and I'd love to give her some news as an 80th birthday surprise. Now I know this isn't a strictly genealogical enquiry so if I'm out of order, I apologise - hope someone can tell me another mailing list to try if I'm in the wrong place.
